My name is Ron Balker, when I came up with the idea of the Copier Hoist, it was purely out of the desire to make it easier for my employees to do a task.
It bothered me to see them strain and hurt to do something that needed to be done every day, several times a day.
There had to be a better way.
After searching for a long time for a better solution and trying a few that were very cumbersome, I decided the only way to get what I had in mind is to invent it.
I have a background in mechanical engineering design and fabrication. I used that knowledge to make the Copier Hoist, something that should have been around for a long time.
The first prototype was built after several design trials and improvements, the prototype was then used for a whole year to make sure it performs as needed.
The final product is a finished version of the prototype with minor improvements.
